Designed specifically for carriage driving, this anti-fly kidney rug helps protect your horse from irritating flies and biting insects whilst working. Providing coverage over the quarters and loins, it helps improve comfort during warm weather driving without restricting movement or interfering with the harness.
The rug has been carefully designed to fit neatly over the harness, featuring three openings that allow the rein terrets and centre pedestal of the driving saddle to pass through for a secure and practical fit.
At the rear, the rug can be secured using the fillet string beneath the tail, while two soft rope leg straps provide additional stability and can be crossed over if preferred. At the front, three leather straps allow the rug to be attached securely to the breastplate wither strap, helping to keep it correctly positioned during work.
