From the manufacturer:
Designed by a farrier specifically for the barefoot horse or mule, the Scoot Boots Adjust Enduro Hoof Boots – Pair is great for long-distance rides. With fully adjustable straps around the heel bulbs, the Enduro Hoof Boot is an ideal option for equines with various hoof shapes, especially those with underrun or high heels.
With no cables or hook-and-loop closures, taking the boot on and off is a breeze. It also won’t get soggy or heavy during your rides and offers excellent drainage, so you can venture across muddy, wet ground without worry! Open toes, sides, and back provide ventilation while keeping pressure off the heel bulbs. The flexible sole and excellent traction will keep your equine companion comfortable for the miles to come.
