This is a traditional breastplate, similar in construction to the ZGB model, but it does not have in-built traces.
The breastplate is 10cm (4″) wide and comes with soft, detachable padding that features rounded edges for the horse’s comfort. Colour trim may be fitted to suit individual requirements.
The padded wither strap features adjustbale rein drops, made to Zilco’s own design. This allows them to be positioned at a height suitable for each particular horse, and enables a more direct line of contact with the horse’s mouth.
It is fitted with 50mm (2″) stainless steel trace buckles with removable uptugs and saddle connecting straps. The uptugs are attached to the false belly band for stability, while the saddle connecting straps are attached to the connecting strap on the saddle to help support the breastplate.
The breastplate can be personalised using Coloured Trim available separately
