This is an indispensable tool when driving marathons & obstacles, but is also helpful in the execution of dressage movements when holding the reins in one hand is required.
Designed for joining tandem or team reins, but also used by drivers of single or pair horses who may find gripping difficult. It can also help drivers of all turnouts to keep their hand position if they are inclined to let the reins slip through the hand.
Simply punch holes in your reins where a coupling is required and then use the buckle to join the reins through the holes you have created. The Velcro then attaches around the two reins to hold the join securely. This gives a very comfortable and trustworthy join that you can rely on in any condition.
